Spoilers and I am a silly fangirl!
May. 12th, 2007 12:04 amYou know, Supernatural has kind of a delayed effect on me. I never feel any emotion beyond squee and perversion while I'm watching it, but then some time later I'll see something and it'll trigger some deep involvement in whatever was going on last Thursday. Even with being scared: when The Usual Suspects aired, I wasn't scared for a minute, until three days later when MamaGoddess, who had purchased some label-making software behind my back, printed up some labels and I walked into the dining room and saw them laying in the printer. You know what labels look like when they print up, right? I nearly had a heart attack. So All Hell Breaks Loose was unbearably awesome, but powerful as it was, I didn't really have any emotional response to it. Until today. I got off work early, and before I went home, I went to check out the knitting books in Barnes and Noble, see if there was anything I needed and all, and I picked up this book entirely on knitted teddy bears, ( and and and... )
And now to bed.
Mar. 21st, 2007 12:09 amSchool was easy this week! So why didn't I get anything done?
I was less impressed with 300 than I expected to be. It got a bit too Gladiator. Not up with what I expect from Frank Miller. (Then again, I've never read the graphic novel. My Miller studies are limited to Sin City. Maybe the comic was better.) But, hell it was free. And any movie with my brother is a good time. We make fun of everything.
I'm definitely going to make this sweater (the long sleeved version in red or orange because I'm a dirty whore), but I'm thinking now I'd like to add a skirt. Just keep knitting at the end of it and end up with something vaguely like a cotehardie to wear to sleep at war and around the house in winter when MamaGoddess refuses to turn the heater on.
Beyond that, I'm excited for the cruise (leaves in 10 days!), for this week's Spn (werewolves!), for my next paycheck (???!), and for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
grimmus coming down to party at the Mexican consulate with me (nuff said!). Also, I'm very tired. Good night.

Scarf Poll!

Bear in mind, I'm not talking about cheapass solid-primary-colors-only yarn. I'm talking about really awesome, hot, sexy yarn.
Also, I wasn't planning on making a matching, 6'1" long Ackles scarf, simply because of lack of inspiration. (For some reason, when I thought of the Padalecki scarf, my brain went 'CABLES CABLES CABLES IT MUST HAVE CABLES YUSS.' So when that didn't happen at the thought of an Ackles scarf...) But then I found a stitch in one of the Edge books called a granite rib. So there will be an Ackles. But I already know what color it's gonna be.
(Also, tell me if I'm being scary. Sometimes I can't tell. I mean, usually I can, like when I thought of the Padalecki my first thought was thatkeepaofthecheez should have one cuz she's such a Jared girl and all, but I know that it would be scary and psychotic of me to suggest such a thing, cuz I don't know her that well. And getting to know her better just so she could have one is also scary. But sometimes it's not so clear cut. So yeah, just let me know.)
