It is beautiful, isn't it?? As soon as I saw it I went into total catatonia as well. Hahaha. I have the name of the artist on the credits for the icon... can't think of it off the top of my head. But she has a few other pictures as well. This one is my fave, but the other slashables are also pretty good. ^__^

I loved the discussion of hotass angry!Dean in azewewish's lj tonight. Now, if only I can forget how mediocre the plots have been for the vampire baddies-of-the-week, I can enjoy the manlove and the ghost thing next week.
I think part of the reason Kripke's been so tame with the vamps is because he's already dealing with being Buffy's predecessor to an extent, but he can't avoid vamps (because HELLO, horror needs vamps) so instead he tries to minimize. I like that they're coming up repeatedly though. I think he wants to use them as a bigger baddie because they've got such a great mythology around them, but doesn't want to have to dismiss them like a regular monster of the week.
See, I was wanting something non-evil to come along and cause angst controversy, so this episode's plot pleased me. I think maybe it's because I'm such a freak. Also the "Yeah, and Hannibal Lecter was a good psychiatrist" line.
I'm a huge fan of the monster of the week element of the show; it's what hooked me (aside from INSANELY! HOT! BROTHERS!), but I totally love the non monstery eps too. Frankly, this show has yet to give me something I didn't like. :D
What can I say? I'm easy.
Ohhh yeah. TWO Silence of the Lambs references. And Dean said the lotion line! Jesus, Kripke loves us.
I really want there to be an ep set in 1932 or something and have it be filmed in black and white and have totally different characters but played by the boys and maybe some similarities pop up? You know they do on cool shows, like XF? That would be awesome.
The first reference I didn't even barely notice. The second I did because I am Lecter's fangirl. (Shutup!)
