scarylullabiezThis ep was so awesome that I'm not even going to talk about the OODLES OF WINCEST in it.
I was at work earlier today, trying to explain the type of scary shit I like (i.e. NOT the mass produced crapfest that is horror movies today), but I couldn't articulate myself very well. Now if only I had had this episode in my pocket I could have whipped it out and just said, "This is the kind of scary shit I like."
It was perfect: the setting was beautiful and eerie and classic, the old dude was awesome, that shot where they first showed Grandma in her wheelchair made me squeal, and you can't go wrong with that creepy-ass girl from The 4400.
Also, that Susan lady's ears freaked me out, ya'll. Look closely at her ears, they are completely freaky.
Sam's hair looks pretty in water. I've always loved how hair looks in water. Leave me alone, that's perfectly normal.
And Dean was like, "My left boot! It's broken!!"
The VMars trailer? Where what's her face is walking upstage and the CW logo is behind her? She briefly blocked out part of the logo, and for a split second, I thought it said "CUM" instead of "CW."

The whole little-girl-being-freakin-scary thing made simply bone chilling. also, the whole "what makes them thing we look gay?" statement, ah Kripke sure knows how to pander to the fangirl.
