You know what the world really needs? More boob icons.
And some bellydancing ones, for good measure.
And you know, since I'm one of those dorks who still dresses up for the first day of school, have some goofy-ass pictures of me in hot rollers:

Some sort of half-fishface:

Just to prove that all that goofiness had a purpose, later with makeup:

Date: 2007-01-23 01:59 pm (UTC)When I was in school, I totally dressed up for the first day, even in grad school, so you're not alone, lol.
I totally need to dig out my hot rollers now.

Date: 2007-01-23 09:06 pm (UTC)I like making a good first impression, ya know? Especially since the rest of the semester I turn up for class looking like death warmed over.
Hot rollers are fun. Makes me feel all retro and hardcore. And I love them when it's cold, cuz MamaGoddess will only turn on the heater for like, nuclear winter.

Date: 2007-01-23 09:09 pm (UTC)Heeee! What I love is when you look for yarn on Ebay, most people tilt one ball over like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/2000yds-lace-apple-green-yarn-with-cashmere-feeling-122_W0QQitemZ160075041363QQihZ006QQcategoryZ36593QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem), which, I guess is in anticipation of perverts like me.

Date: 2007-01-24 11:06 am (UTC)My hair is naturally bone straight. It's also very fine and usually can't hold a curl for more than about 10 minutes, no exaggeration. For my new year's resolution, I started doing that baking soda instead of shampoo (http://babyslime.livejournal.com/174054.html) thing, and my hair is very soft and happy with me, and it held that curl all night without a drop of hairspray or gel. I sound like a commercial, don't I? ^-^

Date: 2007-01-27 01:50 am (UTC)The no-shampoo thing is very very cool, at least for me. I wanna try the mayonnaise-avocado mix she recommends for split ends.
