I decided I wanted something darker and more winter-ish. I'm not the biggest Evanescence fan in the world, but I loved that picture of Amy Lee. I'm not completely satisfied with it, I'm gonna keep tweaking it over the next couple days. For the life of me, I can't figure out why I can't see the little user chibi. I keep double checking everything and it should be fine. Any ideas?
Bonus points and extra smooches if you recognize the words in the header. ^-^

Date: 2007-12-06 11:14 pm (UTC)As for the words, I'm going out on a limb and saying Neil Gaiman. I know he's written a story about the months sitting around a fire and telling stories (and hey, I figure any author that has scents made for his stories on BPAL is one that you must know and love. ^__^)

Date: 2007-12-06 11:41 pm (UTC)Heee. Well. The first time I heard Evanescence, I went bonkers (I was...sixteen? Seventeen? Ages ago, oh my.) I was waaay into Linkin Park at the time and had been wondering how awesome that type of music would be with a female singer. Now I am...ambivalent about both artists. The instrumental songs by Linkin Park is always interesting, I think.

Date: 2007-12-06 11:50 pm (UTC)I still like 'Bring Me To Life,' but yeah, I don't really have any strong feelings about their stuff now. Amy Lee does have quite a set of pipes, though. And sometimes I love her clothes. :)
Yeah! When I worked for Planned Parenthood, we did our sexual harassment education piece to 'Cure For The Itch.' We had everybody record catcalls and lewd things, and then layered it over the song.
