Everyone knows about this, right? I'm sure responses are going to be mixed, as for me, this is one of those things that's going to keep me riding high for weeks. Especially this report from London. (One of the more enthralling and intimidating chants that kept occuring was ripped off 300: "ANONYMOUS! WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?" 500 people: "AROOUGH! ARROOUGH! ARROUUGH!") I just... sometimes the internets are so unbearably awesome!! It's like the apple thing, only 7,000 times better! It makes me happy to be a human and an internets person.

It was this: I saw the corners of the cops' mouths twitch into smiles as they realised it was ok: we were from the internets. combined with the OMG!Real Cake bit that made me giggle out loud.

It's quite disturbing how I understood most of that report. Kind of like the first time I saw a text in l33tspe4k and realised I understood it word for word. I promptly made myself go for a walk in the sunshine after that :)

This is amazing. And yeah, I only recognize maybe half the memes, but what a turnout everywhere!

I love that that macro (http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/259/1202666100024xy5.jpg) has been declared the grandest in the history of macros by everyone who has seen it.

The only one I insist you know is the real!cake one. If you don't know it, read this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_%28video_game%29) (though it doesn't really convey how wonderfully dark and hilarious the game is) and listen to this (http://www.sendspace.com/file/lgwjc3).

I loved that macro. Genius in simplicity. Long live lolcat!

Ahhhhh, it's set in the Half-Life universe. I'm getting an idea now. Dude, that's a freaky game!

Absolutely hilarious, although I' not sure if I should be glad or worried that I understand all of the memes used in those protests. Fortunately, that apple thing is new to me, so that kind of balances it out. Nevertheless, I got a great laugh out of that whole scenario.

It's so amazing! I was surprised I understood all the memes. I don't hang out anywhere but here, so usually I'm prepared to be not as cool as everyone else. Also, I didn't know what black faxing was until this event. XD

The apple thing is pretty badass. I just remember someone commenting on the metaquotes post with "TONIGHT. WE DINE. ON APPLES!!!"

If I had seven sons, one of them would be named Gus

*ponders* Gus has been one of my favorite names ever since the mouse in Cinderella.
