Alejandro's Trekkie Sweater is complete!

It came out a little big for him, but he's still growing and he's only just starting to fill out his frame, so I'm not really worried. This was really a labor of love for me; a boring pattern and cotton yarn, which I don't like - but he got really excited about it and he's mentioned wearing it to Comicon despite the fact that Comicon is in July. Warm fuzzies. I haz dem. ^-^

As long as he wears in inside the con, he should be okay since they always have the AC pumped up inside the hall. But um outside, that might be another story

You are so skilled. I am practicing I will be ready for Wincon this year with my mad knitting skills lol

Yeah, I saw a guy there last year in a completely knitted Superman costume. His cape must've weighed a ton.

Noro has a cashmere blend in a colorway called "Hunter." I'm gonna bring some to Wincon and see if I get inspired. XD

<333 I am filled with glee! (There is probably a market for Trekkie sweaters. My dad would totally buy one, and he has resisted buying sweaters because "this is The South and it's never cold, I'm not buying any more sweaters/coats," but he would totally ogle some Trekkiewear. *G*)
