Also, these (NSFW) are maybe not beautiful per se, and they're not that expensive either, but I want them. They're just so... practical. Practicality is very sexy.

Jude Law is also beautiful and expensive, alas. *has been making eyes at parents for months to get them to agree to a London expedition next year for the purpose of seeing Hamlet*. I really want one of those umbrellas now, which is totally impractical given that Halifax weather EATS UMBRELLAS and SPITS THEM BACK OUT with mocking laughter. *laughs*

Saw this link on your NSFW site, and started wondering how that could be applicable to an SPN fic with Dean!snark. Except that they, obviously, would not need a strap on---something that Sammy would point out. Dean would roll his eyes and say something pithy.

Welllllll, you could use it as a parasol in the summer. That's the justification I'm using, as we get maybe 8 inches of precipitation a year around here. XD

Dean is all about educating oneself. And Sam is like "We're already pretty much EXPERTS on phalli of all kinds." (What with the knives and guns and all.) And Dean's like "There's always room to learn, Sam, GEEZ."

I admit, I did get to imagining those straps in slashy contexts as well. Seriously, they would just be so damn convenient and useful.

I go on etsy all the time on the excuse of looking for buttons and shawl pins for future knitted items. And then I get all distracted and overexcited, and then I wake up two days later with mysterious cramps in my fingers and without any money in my bank account or idea how I made it to bed.

The end of April is just crazy busy for me, my younger brother's birthday is the 18th, so that weekend is his party and then the next weekend my older brother is getting married.
