I wore these to the midnight show:

The things I do for you, RDJ.

And the second thing is about sex. I am of the opinion that the first Iron Man contains one of the sexiest things ever filmed:

The gif doesn't do it justice. The scene is longer than that for starters, and then there's this particular music that plays and a whole rhythm thing going on. Unf unf unf. UNF. Tony Stark has been stripped down to his bones in that scene. I could go on and on, but we're here to talk about the sequel. Which, just so you know before you read any further, brought out the kink in me like nobody's business. The first one is nearly unbearably hot, but at its kinkiest, it's just an aggressive missionary position. The sequel, on the other hand, makes it clear that Tony Stark needs to be tied up and gagged and made to understand that in some ways, he is completely unremarkable, and that there can be comfort in that. It'd do wonders for him. I want Tony/professional dominatrix artwork or fic SO BADLY RIGHT NOW. Or I want someone to re-write this as Cap/Iron Man. And if it can't be me or Captain America doing the tying and teaching, I wouldn't object to Scarlett Johannsen. I thought she was completely brilliant in this movie. I've always found her attractive, but holy shit guys. Holy. Shit. She looked amazing. She looked so strong and solid, like you'd have to throw some weight into it if you wanted to knock her over, and that is both appropriate for an action movie character, and an aesthetic I prefer in general.* But her hottest scenes weren't the ones in which she was wiping the floor with people. The times when she made me melt into the ground were all towards the beginning, before her identity is revealed and when for all anyone knows, she's just an executive assistant. ScarJo played those scenes with this intense, unfettered focus that just undid me. She was a laser-guided missile when fighting, obviously, but she kept that same high intensity while she was answering to "Miss Potts," and bringing Tony his watch, and calmly walking up some goddamn stairs. Nnnnngh.

Anyways, IT WAS A SEXY MOVIE. THE END.

*And can I just say that I love love LOVED when she took exception to Happy's assumption that 'yes, I have boxed' meant 'yes, I have participated in weight loss programs.' It's such a tiny little moment in the movie, but it hits a sensitive spot for me, not as a fat girl so much as as a dancer and as a female. I can't help but notice that almost no one challenges their bodies for any purpose other than achieving physical attractiveness. Certainly no one pushes themselves for the joy of it. Women in particular are supposed to care about being skinny over any and all other physical goals including being healthy, dancing, and righteous ass-kicking. So it was awesome to see a female character clearly prioritize the ass-kicking. XD
