COMIC-CON '10

There's always something awesome that kicks off the experience for me, something that happens before I'm even in the Convention Center. Last year it was that guy on the corner, this year it was Klingon trolley station.






So you can get an idea of how big the this thing is. Or at least how big, like, 3/4 of it is.

I totally did not notice the guy dressed as Han Solo in carbonite until I got this picture home. XD


There was an awful lot of this type of manflesh around this year, to promote Spartacus Blood and Sand, which, if you don't know, is basically pornography.


Me and Jennifer Jones, on Thursday. I AM NOT DRUNK, I SWEAR. I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT GOOFY LOOK GOT ON MY FACE, OFFICER.




Apparently, they were giving away little girls at Hub TV.


I took a lot more pictures of everyone at the Chuck panel, but these were the only ones that came out:


Adam Baldwin is trepidacious! And perhaps a bit disgusted.


Now he is happy because he can haz a goggy.


acehorner and I are happy because we can haz each other, and in matching outfits no less. Yes, I am a crazy fusion of TNG uniform, retro TOS hair and makeup, and XI lens flare nails, but you get the idea.




We kept trying to do a sexy back rub scene, but I just look angry and indignant. YOU SEE? YOU SEE WHAT I PUT UP WITH?! I am an accomplished scientist! But my captain just uses me for my magic fingers. T_T

I took a picture of this because HE IS OBVIOUSLY PROUDLY DISPLAYING HIS PENIS. IT'S NOT JUST ME, THE GUYS NEXT TO ME MENTIONED THIS BEFORE I HAD SAID A WORD OR RAISED AN EYEBROW.

I mean come on. At the very least, he's on a stripper pole.



Went to look at the Starfleet Academy class ring that Quantum Mechanix makes, and saw Ron Glass instead.

ZOMG IT WAS SO AMAZING. I saw so much marvelous stuff, I saw Helen Mirren for pete's sake, but it's so overwhelming to try to post everything now. I just need to do a highlights post each day of con next year. I love Comic-COn so so so much. I think I might need to go to WonderCon too.

I have no pictures of swag yet, but there was a lot of very cool stuff this year, so those are coming! Also pics of Pride, tea, and OB to come!
