Well I did not get to go to the slashy feast. T_T. Siriusly. I may just kill myself from the sorrow. Ok, not really, but I get the feeling I missed out on something awesome. T_T
Comicon on the other hand, was great. We got there around noon, and damn, Will has gotten very tall. Also, there were many many Jedi there, whish only makes me sadder that I DIDN'T GO TO THE SLASHY FEAST *SOB SOB, TEARS OUT HAIR* Also I forgot my camera, how lame am I? No slashy feast, and no camera, I SUCK AT LIFE! Oy, I am going to try and stop with The Caps Of Self-Loathing cuz I missed SUCH AN AWESOME OCCURANCE. Ok, I'm really done now. My favorite Jedi were these two girls I saw in drag as Obi-Wan and Anakin. I can't tell all about everything I saw there, cuz we'll be here all night, so in order to best convey my Comicon love I will now present a fact and a theory: Andy and Alejandro do not get as much out of Comicon as I do. I do not think that this is because their names start with "A" or because they are male. I think that this is because I have a stronger sense of pack than they do. (And I further theororize that that is because I also have a stronger sense of my otherwise solivagous exhistance.) I mean, I go and I have such a good time looking at everyone and seeing all the Jedis and the ppl in various costumes and everyone is courteous and cool and mellow, that I don't really care about the stands or exhibits. (Although they are nice too.) It means something very very important to me to be where I know I am not judged, even when I'm decked out in all my finery. It's a totally different sensation than being in the outside world; it's a hundred thousand layers of armor and fight-or-flight tension that are rendered non-existant and more importantly, unnecessary, for a day. It's something, you know? The only thing that could have made it better (aside from attending the slashy feast, and having a bit more money), was if
iharthdarth had a booth there.
Psycho-spiritual ramblings aside, I bought a comic book from Prism Comics, and four Little India posters, and present for my WifeNaelor, for next time I see her. (p.s. WifeNaelor, I have decided to try and bring you a present everytime we get together. Until we live together, that is.) Also I bought a necklace so cool, that I will just post pictures of it as when I take them, I can't even describe it.
Harry Potter tommorrow!
