Tommorrow the U.S.S. Wifeypants (Lien) (I originally had S.F. Wifeypants, and then the U.S.S. thing came to me, because Lien is seafaring, and a force to be reckoned with, and many other beautiful praiseworthy things) and Kittentits (Apple) get into town. To both of you: I may be a bit weepy, especially when I first see you. Don't be worried about me, or feel bad, because I assure you, all my memories of Miles are very, very good. And there's nothing wrong with having sadness mixed it with celebrating, especially on The Longest Night. So anyways, don't feel bad or be surprised if I cry a bit. Both times I talked to Lien on the phone, I was like 'Yeah, I'm calm enough, I can talk w/o crying...' and then, well, you heard me, Lien. And while we're on the subject, I can't thank Lien enough. It's hard for me to ask for help when I need it and Lien has been right there for me. I lavish you with smooches and praise and many, many thanks, U.S.S. Wifeypants. And also, I wish I had gotten you a more spectacular Yule present. I will settle for spinning you some beautiful yarn for your birthday, or our anniversary, or whatever event comes up.

I also wanted to say that we still must go see Brokeback Mountain. I have a few reasons behind my insistance. First off, as I understand it, this movie would make Osama Bin Laden cry, and then I will not be the only one who looks weepy. Secondly, Miles was born on Gay Cowboy Day, and dammit, I think I should celebrate. Thirdly, a temporary escape is always good. And lastly, there is a theater in Hillcrest that is showing it and is a wee bit closer than the La Jolla Theater, and instead of being filled with yuppies, Hillcrest is filled with Teh Gay. So off to Brokeback Mountain we go!

Of course I'm going to be worried about you, whether you like it or not! I'll just not be excessively so. I'm glad I could be there for you, and I cant wait to go see the Gay Cowboy Porn with you!
